Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Vystra Build (build.vystra.in and the Vystra Android app) collects, why, and the choices you have. Vystra Build is run by Karthik Raja V from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email, phone number (optional), company name and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password.
• Records you add: sites, workers, attendance (including location if you choose to record it), materials, expenses, customers, quotations, invoices, tasks and files such as photos and bills.
• Payment details: the plan, amount, date and payment reference (for example a UPI or bank transfer reference). Card details are handled by Razorpay or Google Play and never reach us.
• Technical details: the time you last signed in, and a device token if you allow notifications in the Android app.

2. How we use it

• To run the service: sign-in, storing and showing your records, calculating wages and totals, making PDFs.
• To send account emails: sign-in codes, welcome and receipt emails, trial and renewal reminders, and answers to your questions.
• To help you get set up: the founder may contact a company admin by email or phone after sign-up. Reply "no thanks" and we will stop.
• We do not sell your data, show advertising, or share your records with other customers.

3. Who processes it for us

• Render (application hosting) and Supabase (database and file storage).
• Resend (sending emails).
• Razorpay (online payments on the website, when offered) and Google Play (Android app payments).
• Google Firebase (Android app notifications, only if you allow them).

These providers handle data only to provide their service to us. Some of them may store data outside India.

4. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Each company's records are kept separate, and uploaded files are private and served only to signed-in users of that company.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 7 days, as described on the delete your account page. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, with your company name removed.

6. Your choices

• See and correct your details any time in the app.
• Export your records as spreadsheets (CSV) from the app.
• Delete your account from Settings → My profile → Delete account, or by email.

7. Children

Vystra Build is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.

8. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email company admins before it takes effect.
